The Douglas County Historical Society strives to share its love of the area's history with the public via many events and exhibits held throughout the year.
Examples of this community outreach include:
Douglas County Historical Society invites the public to be our guest
to the grand opening of the "Central Centennial Exhibit: What in the James
J. Hill was going on here?" and Book Signing Saturday, June 26th at 2:55
PMStrike for Dickie! The People vs. The Board of
Education July 30, 31 August 4, 5, 6, and 7th at 7:30 PM and August 1st at 2:00
PM.Vaudeville-A dazzling display of stupendous
entertainment. September 16th at 6:00 pm. VIP night to those who donated towards the
Palace Theatre Mural. Public Invited: September 17 & 18th at 7:00 pm
and September 19 at 2:00.

USO Canteen Show- 2010 Decemeber 4th at 2:00 & 6:30 PM and
December 5th at 2:00 PM Cost $12.00 or $10.00 in advance General
Seating Tickets on sale July.
