$12Paul Metsa to Perform for Soldiers & Sailors Relief Fund & DCHS
On Friday, October 14th Paul Metsa will bring his form of Americana Music to the Douglas County Historical Society’s History Theater stage. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm at the Douglas County Historical Society at 1101 John Ave., Superior, WI. Table seating will only be for 85 people so tickets will go fast for this show. Americana artists Tony Don Tracy and Aurora Baer will also be performing on this show.
Paul Metsa is a legendary musician and songwriter from Minnesota. Born on the Iron Range, he has been based in Minneapolis since 1978. He has received seven Minnesota Music Awards (MMA) and has played more than 5,000 shows including Farm Aid and trips to Iceland and Siberia.
Paul currently lives in Northeast Minneapolis with his faithful dog, Blackie, a dozen or so guitars, 25 orange crates of LP’s and hundreds of books, CD’s and vintage postcards.
Proceeds from this concert will help DCHS and will send some needed funds to the Soldiers & Sailors Relief Fund. Get your tickets early as this will be a great show and a great reason to come and support your community. While this is a family friendly show, adult beverages will be available.
