Lee serves as the representative from the Douglas County Board. Lee also serves as co-chair of the League of Women Voters of Douglas County, as the code compliance officer for the city of Superior, Lee serves on many committees and earned an MBA in Leadership and Change from The College of Saint Scholastica.
